Capitol Region Council of Government (CRCOG)
KTI is providing software application development services and products toward migration and enhancement of a public safety computer assisted dispatch system, Heartbeat CAD. The Heartbeat CAD system integrates with 9-1-1, CAPTAIN mobile data communications (police, fire, EMS, and emergency management), AVL, GIS and related initiatives to provide a fully functional call service and response management system for public safety answering points and their corresponding response agencies.
CT Public Safety Departments
KT International will be providing a web-based software solution to manage the scheduling needs of public safety departments in the greater Hartford and Bridgeport areas. The Automated Scheduling Assignment Program (ASAP) will be able to generate multiple daily schedules based on a number of factors including varying shift patterns, day-off rotations, changing rosters, employee position and rank, and job specific qualifications. ASAP will also manage the fair distribution of overtime assignments, private duties, and special events. The level of automation is flexible and determined by each department's needs. Tracking and recording of all data will allow for auditing and reporting, and will help departments meet union compliance issues. ASAP will be integrated with CAD as well as each department's existing human resource and/or payroll management system.
Colorado Bureau of Investigation
KTI implemented the Web based Internet Criminal History Checks system (the ICHC) for either citizens or businesses to conduct criminal history checks on individuals. This background check system allows users to access secure and pre-edited data from the Colorado Bureau of Investigation (CBI) regarding public criminal history records based on names. Department of Motor Vehicles
KTI developed an Internet/Web server based system for the new Motor Vehicle Insurance Registration System for the State of Connecticut. This system reports delinquent insurance coverage for each registered vehicle by interfacing with over 100 insurance carriers in the State of Connecticut.
East Hartford Police Department
KT International is implementing a web-service based application for the East Hartford Police Department which will manage departmental forms and documents. The Electronic Forms Management System will enable authorized personnel to fill out forms using Internet Explorer in a secure manner via local and transmission encryption and via the deployment of authentication and digital signatures/certifications. Users will be able to print documents locally. In addition, the system provides workflow management which will allow authorized personnel to retrieve and continue working on saved documents.
Department of Public Safety, Louisiana
KTI provided the product and support services for the Carrying Concealed Weapon Permit and Firearm Management System to the Louisiana Department of Public Safety. This system provides integrated permit and firearm management functionalities. It is browser-based, and was developed on Websphere and J2EE. Built on MS SQL 2000, it has database management, reporting capabilities, and the ability to issue special permits and register ownership of firearms when legislation mandates. There are multiple file interfaces for various State Agencies for complete background checks and data transfers. It has on-line and real-time interfaces to the State Accounting System, Customer-designed photo-IDs. Form letters with labels are generated automatically.
Department of Public Safety, Connecticut
KTI developed the Special License and Weapon Registration System (SLWRS). This system is a Firearms Management program built as a multi-tier application system using Oracle RDBMS.
