KTI was awarded a project from the Judicial Branch of Connecticut for the development and deployment of digital pens to be used with Standing Criminal Restraining Order (SCRO) forms. Once the clerk completes an SCRO form using the digital pen, the information is automatically transferred to the SQL database and pushed to their backend system (Protective Order Registry). This eliminates the need for data entry by clerks and immediately notifies authorities via email of Restraining Orders. KTI also developed a customized browser interface for this system.
