KTI's patent-pending revolutionary technology enables pen and paper to be a direct input device for a computer. The data will be inputted into a computer by using an ink PVVS Pen that connects to a computer and marks voting selections on the PVVS paper ballot. The selections are then automatically entered into the computer. When the vote is cast, the marked paper ballot can be securely stored for verification purposes.
PVVS has the verification features of a paper-based and the DRE voting systems combined. PVVS has the equivalent data security, integrity and protection of the DRE voting system while maintaining the original marked paper ballots available for verification whenever needed. Random verification processes of the paper ballots that are sealed and stored at voting locations can be conducted as each jurisdiction's statutes requires. The PVVS voting system can assure voting accuracy that drastically exceeds any other voting method.
